Julian Alvarez is running out of options in the final days of the summer transfer window. The Argentine said during the World Cup he wanted out of Atletico Madrid, but Diego Simeone’s side are refusing to sell to Barcelona.
Premier League champions Arsenal are keen on landing Alvarez but the forward is reportedly unwilling to go to the Emirates and there’s a big reason why.
According to Diario Sport, Alvarez lives with family in Spain – including his siblings – but that would not be possible if he were to return to England for a second spell.
Alvarez has already spent two years in the UK with Manchester City, and laws implemented after Brexit mean that his family would not be able to
